Thanks Pete.....

I felt a need to publish a post just to thank Pete Townshend for adding another Chapter in my book of kind and wonderful memories. Over the years of me being a fan I have seen Pete try different things, not just for him but for us fans. Im sure its not easy having people hound you all the time to make you produce songs. They think all you have to do is sit and write and shit a tune out your ass. I hope at this time in his life he is really enjoying his work and not letting people drive him crazy (like me).
Thank you Pete for letting us in your world and seeing the other side of you, ( not the performer Pete). Thank you for you kind words on my Blog. Thank you for writing a great story. Thank you Pete for just being Pete........

Thats what my dad always told me and thats what I have been doing all my life (at least at work). Last week I was told that they want me to move up in my position here where I work which would mean an income increase of 50%.... a lot of money. They thold me that I was one of the best they have seen doing my job in years which made me feel really good.
This would mean that we wont need to move right now. We can actually wait for a year and buy a house outright and not have any mortgage which is my dream. The only drawback is that I have had very little time for my recording.
Sherry gave me a hand made coupon book for valentines day and in it there are 30 coupons for one hour of guitar recording with no interutions (amongst other coupons that I cant mention).
I seem to be ramblin only because there hasnt been anything special to Blog about. So this is whats going on....

To move or not to move.....

Sherry and I were talking about moving and taking advantage of the Realty boom where our house value has trippled since we have bought it. This will mean moving further north up the Gulf where the market hasnt really gone crazy. The good news is we will be selling in a sellers market and going to buy in a buyers market. Sounds good right? Maybe, maybe not. I dont know if moving now will be the right thing to do. I have a good job and have been here for a while. We will be moving to an area that has more to offer for the kids anyway Disney, MGM and Universal, and I can get a good job up there too. Im not worried about that. Im worried that Sherry is thinking things might be better up there and they wont. I dont mean between us but in general. I think she thinks moving will make some difference. To me it really doesnt matter. I can work and make it anywhere. Especially where I have been and gone thru.
I just hope this isnt some type of finding myself move. I dont think she knows how hard it is to move agian. We got a lot of shit to get rid of and do. Putting a house on the market isnt easy and will be frustrating. As long as she knows she will have to handle it or at least most of it than go for it........
